Assessment FAQs
What are the assessments you offer?
I am able to conduct the following types of assessment:
- Risk assessment including for courts and parole boards. I am able to assess risk of general violence, intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and stalking.
- Assessment of mental health needs, including psychometric such as Beck's Depression Inventory.
- Cognitive assessment using tools such as the Weschler Adult Intelligence Scale
- Autism assessment using ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
Where do psychology assessments take place?
I accept assessment referrals in Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire. Location of the assessment will depend on the needs of the client and the type of assessment required. Please book a free 20 minute consultation to discuss assessment needs and we can discuss options for location.
What does a psychology assessment involve?
The assessment may include one or more of the following components:
- A clinical interview and/or structured interviews
- Administration of psychological tests or questionnaires
- Review of relevant records (e.g., medical, educational, occupational, or legal records)
- Review of collateral information from third parties (e.g., family members, treating professionals, or other relevant sources), with your authorisation where required
How much do psychology assessments cost?
Assessment fees will be dependent on needs and associated travel expenses. These will be discussed at the point of initial consultation.
Who can you assessment?
I am able to provide formal psychological risk assessment and cognitive assessment for adults over the age of 18.
For Autism assessment, I am able to assess children and adults.

Payment policy
Any assessment requests will be required to pay the agreed fee within 30 days of work completion.
